We are a growing tax and accounting firm in Des Moines offering a pleasant, flexible and supportive working atmosphere. We are considering experienced accountant candidates including those that have taken a non-traditional career path or those that may be re-entering the work force. This is a Full Time position that can offer flexible hours to accommodate family or other needs along with some capability to work remote for 1-2 days a month.
Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s in Accounting and at least 4 years verifiable experience in working with small business clients’ financial statements, payroll and preparing tax returns. Enrolled Agent or CPA strongly recommended. After any required training, this position will involve full charge responsibility for a group of our Small Business Clients. The position will involve bookkeeping and accounting, financial statement review and preparation, tax planning, tax preparation and most importantly keeping our small business clients happy through excellent customer service.
Our firm provides a complete package of services to the small business owner ranging from monthly accounting and payroll to tax and financial planning. We are undertaking an aggressive marketing campaign and this person will play an important role in the growth of the firm.
